2024/12/15 - The Solstice Ritual to Dispel Obstacles
Each year at the solstice, here at our monastery we perform one of two rituals, alternating: either Dorje Drolö or Ratna Lingpa's Vajrakilaya. Yesterday afternoon we began the practice of the terma discovered by Vidyadhara Ratna Lingpa. The ritual has many parts for dispelling obstacles in more elaborate and concise iterations. We follow the tradition of Karma Chakme in this practice. The vajra master is Tulku Sangye Tenzin who oversaw the preliminaries and Khenchen Rinpoche.
