2025/08/17 - The Twenty One-Parinirvana Offering Ceremony
Today, our supreme guide, the incomparably kind and glorious master, the definitive protector of the Dharma wheel - though his name is difficult to fully express, for necessity, we shall speak his complete name: Kyabje Bokar Dorje Chang Karma Ngedon Chokyi Lodro Pal Sangpo - on this special day when he demonstrated the dissolution of his body into the dharmadhatu (realm of phenomena), we held the twenty-first parinirvana offering ceremony.
In the presence of the supreme Kyabje Choktrul Rinpoche presiding, the Kagyu melodic chanting was performed.
In the great assembly hall, with Kyabje Khenchen Rinpoche presiding, through the ritual of the glorious Shangpa aspirational prayers, offerings and aspirational prayers were made, along with guru yoga practices and the related calling to the lama from afar and the butter lamp aspirational prayers - thus an extensive and profound memorial offering ceremony was held.
