2025/08/17 - Glimpse of Activity on Parinirvana Ceremony
 On 17th August, Bokar Monastery (Shambhala Charitable Trust) observed the 21st Parinirvana of Kyabje Bokar Dorje Chang Karma Ngedon Chokyi Lodro Pal Sangpo with deepdevotion and gratitude.
On this auspicious occasion, the monastery distributed blankets, bed sheets, and pillow covers to the monks and nuns of Bokar Monastery, Bokar Shedra Obar Chimeyling – Institute for Higher Buddhist Studies, and Bokar Dolma Lekshay Doeguling Buddhist Institute (Abbey).
Additionally, lunch and stationery were offered to the Day Scholars of Bokar Vajradhara Memorial School, as a gesture of love and encouragement.
A plantation drive was also undertaken in the surrounding area by the students
The day also witnessed the inauguration of a Computer Lab, two Science Laboratories, a Smart Classroom, and a Dental Clinic, dedicated to enhancing education and well-being within the monastery and its institutions.
In addition, Prof. (Dr.) Rinchey Norbu Bhutia from Clinic Renew Plus kindly provided free dental services to our monks.
May the blessings of Kyabje Bokar Dorje Chang continue to inspire us on the path of wisdom and compassion.
